The area called “C.3.98 SAPABA” is located in the southern part of Casalecchio di Reno (BO), inside the propertyo f the Società Saraceni S.r.l., and is the target of an extensive private venture revitalization plan. To the east it borders with the orographic banks of the Reno River, to the south with the wood sin Via Salvatore Allende, to the north with Rio dei Gamberi and to the west with the new reidsential division. In order to strengthen the existing ecological connections with the river and with the woods, the planning choice was to sew together the existing, following a sinusoidal natuarl pattern.
The Masterplan studied the integration between the landscape and the new sustainable architecture. The Masterplan guidelines identify some themes: acoustic wall, green parking lot, private gardens, common courtyards, vertical gardens, phytodepuration basin, but also the management of the areas, particularly the woods.
The project also involves the mitigation of the Reno River’s banks and of the minor waterways: Rio Bolsenda and Rio de Gamberi.
